DALGONA COFFEE

Milk, instant coffee, sugar, and water combine to make a smooth, frothy Dalgona coffee. A simple Dalgona coffee recipe that beats the city’s best cafe!

WHAT IS DALGONA COFFEE?

Whipped instant coffee, sugar, water, and milk combine to make dalgona.

Sugar, instant coffee powder, and hot water must be mixed in the same proportions before being whisked to create a thick and fluffy foam.

Once the coffee mousse has been whipped, it is poured into a cold or warm milk glass to create a two-layer coffee.

Finally, a coffee that rivals the best in town in terms of body, creaminess, and foaminess is produced.

With its worldwide popularity, it has become one of the most popular making your own coffee at home!

DALGONA COFFEE RECIPE

There are only four ingredients in my Dalgona whipped coffee recipe.

  • Hot water
  • Instant coffee. I used Folgers Classic Decaf instant coffee crystals.
  • Sugar
  • Milk

This Dalgona Macchiato is served in an espresso cup since it is hot and robust.

This frothy, creamy, and intensely coffee-scented whipped coffee is the best I’ve ever had.

HOW TO MAKE COFFEE DALGONA?

It’s a breeze to brew your own cup of coffee at home. There are two steps to the recipe.

  1. Pour hot water over the instant coffee powder and stir to dissolve the sugar. Hand-whip the coffee mixture to foam and soft peaks by whisking and whipping it repeatedly. You may undoubtedly beat the coffee mixture with an electronic hand mixer.
  2. Next, bring the milk to a boil, then pour the coffee mousse over the top. Serve right away.

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST DALGONA COFFEE?

Here are some of my best hints for making authentic Italian Dalgona whipped coffee at home:

  • Ensure the coffee mixture is whisked until the color changes from dark brown to light, golden brown.
  • Soft peaks form as more air is integrated into the frothy mousse, indicating that the coffee mousse is ready to serve.
  • Using 70 percent milk and 30 percent whipped coffee mousse, you can create the ultimate Dalgona coffee.
  • Add a dash of coffee or cocoa powder to the top for an added dose of flavor.
