SAMBAL OKRA

Okra, sometimes known as ladies’ fingers, is a nutritious food. Using fresh okra, shrimp and sambal sauce, Sambal Okra is one of the tastiest ways to eat okra in the world. It’s a real treat!

In my opinion, it’s the greatest way to cook okra. Known as Ladies’ Fingers in England and other Commonwealth countries, Okra is also known as okra.

Fresh okra, sambal (chili and Malaysian belacan or shrimp paste), and shrimp are used to make sambal okra.

It’s one of my all-time favorite vegetable preparations. It’s a terrific side dish with rice because it’s nutritious and tasty.

Okra is a vegetable that belongs to the mallow family. The exterior of the palatable green seed pods is covered in microscopic hairs. When okra is cooked, it becomes gummy and squishy.

Fried okra is a beloved Southern delicacy, especially in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, where it is especially common.

Okra is a common ingredient in curries and stir-fries in South and Southeast Asia.

There are just 50 calories in one serving of this meal.

  • 5 fresh red chilies
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon toasted Belacan

  • cooking oil
  • salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add the frying oil to a wok and heat it up. Add the shrimp to the garlic and cook for a few minutes.
