Overnight breakfast bowls

Let’s be real, not all of us have the luxury of making an elaborate morning meal. In fact, most of us prefer gulping down coffee and hightailing out of the house. But, if you really do wish to kick-start your morning on a healthy note, then prepping in advance is your best bet.

Overnight oats have been making their way into Indian kitchens for a hot minute now. They are especially beneficial for those who would appreciate some free time in the morning without having to worry about breakfast. This is where these overnight bowls come in!

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Apple and cinnamon is hands down one of the most comforting combos there is. Throw them on top of overnight oats, and you have got yourself a winner.

Overnight Oats With Yoghurt

You don’t even need fruit to compliment your breakfast bowls. Leave your overnight oats in yoghurt or flavoured yoghurt at night and follow it up with a few spoonfuls of granola in the morning.

Berry Smoothie Bowls

The best way to get the goodness of berries into your body is to blend them up. Be it strawberry, blueberry or blackberry, make a smoothie in your blender and toss it in a bowl to add on your nut and granola toppings.

Peanut Butter and Banana Oats

Another classic combo, peanut butter and banana is a match made in heaven. Your overnight oats will definitely taste more like a dessert with this twist.

Chia Seed Pudding

Immerse chia seeds such as milk, nut milk, or juice for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight, allowing the chia seeds to absorb the liquid. You will be left with a pudding that is best served with fruits and nuts on top.

Chocolate Oats

For all chocoholics out there, cocoa powder can actually be quite good for you. Put a spoonful into your overnight oats and enjoy this healthy yet delightful treat first thing in the morning. Fun fact, banana and strawberry will go really well with this if you are looking for toppings.

Granola Smoothie Bowl

Combine berries, yoghurt and milk in a blender, spoon it into a bowl and dot over the fresh fruit, granola and mixed nuts and seeds. And VOILA, an easy breakfast made in advance with no fuss!
