Green Beans With Peanut Sauce

February 11, 2023

Green beans are sautéed with garlic and then topped with a spicy and delicious Thai peanut sauce to finish. This recipe is simple, healthful, and tasty.

Thai peanut sauce is a popular condiment in Thailand, and we can’t get enough of it when we eat Thai chicken sate.

I am a member of this group. Preparing a decent peanut sauce is relatively straightforward, and I can generally whip up a batch of it in less than 15 minutes using only a few simple components.

Aside from Thai red curry paste, the only other specific ingredient you’ll need to purchase is coconut milk, which you can find in most Asian markets or online these days.

Everything tastes so much better when you serve it with peanut sauce. Drizzle it over chicken, steak, seafood, veggies, or beans to create a lovely and delectable feast that the whole family will enjoy.

One of the best veggies is green beans, and I eat them daily practically without fail. Another one of my all-time favorite green bean recipes is this quick and easy green bean with peanut sauce, which is incredibly simple to make and goes great with a variety of other foods, including hot rice.

Sauté and simmer the green beans in a little oil and garlic until they are soft and you’re done. And then, once the green beans are cooked, drizzle the peanut sauce over the top. It’s very delicious!

You may make these green beans with peanut sauce recipes at home to spice up your palette and introduce new sensations to your dining table. I’m confident that you’ll like it as much as I do.

INGREDIENTS

  • Two cloves of garlic, finely minced, finely minced
  • One tablespoon oil
  • Ground peanuts, optional
  • Eight oz. (226 g) green beans

PEANUT SAUCE:

  • Two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • One tablespoon sugar or to taste
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • Salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk
  • Two tablespoons of ground peanut
  • Two tablespoons of Thai red curry paste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove the green beans’ top and bottom points and set them aside once they have been rinsed.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, mix all ingredients for the Peanut Sauce. Mix the ingredients rapidly with a whisk before moving them to a stovetop and heating on low heat for 10 minutes. To make sure all ingredients are well-combined, whisk the Peanut Sauce for another minute or two.
  3. Remove the pan once the sauce begins to bubble from the heat. (If you like your sauce a little more watery, you can add some water to it while cooking.) Set it aside.
  4. Add some oil to a pan and cook the garlic until it’s light brown. About 5 minutes later, add the green beans and stir them in. Serve the green beans immediately after drizzling them with Peanut Sauce and topping them with a dusting of ground peanuts.
